Privacy & Data Notice
How Future Proof Knowledge handles personal data collected through this website.
Last updated: 5 October 2026
This is the United Kingdom version of our notice, written for the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003, each as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025.
Scope of this notice
This notice covers this website only — the corporate site of Face Painted Kids Limited, trading as Future Proof Knowledge. It does not cover the FPK OS platform or the standalone products FPK University, FPK-X, and FPK Bridge, which have separate agreements and privacy notices.
Who we are
The controller of your personal data is Face Painted Kids Limited, trading as Future Proof Knowledge, a company registered in Ireland. You can contact us about anything in this notice at info@futureproofknowledge.com.
What we collect
This website has two enquiry and signup forms. When you use the “Get updates on FPK OS” form, we store:
- Your email address — as you entered it
- A source label — which page the signup came from
- A timestamp — when you signed up
The evaluation and pilot enquiry form collects your organisation, name, and email address. You may also provide your role, region, approximate number of learners, and a message. The submission includes a label identifying the pilot page as its source. Please do not include children's names, health details, or support records in an enquiry.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this site, and we do not track your browsing. No cookie banner is shown because no consent-requiring cookies are set.
Regional suggestion. When a page loads, our hosting provider reads the country your connection comes from and our site uses it, once, to decide whether to suggest a different regional version of the site. We receive only a two-letter country code; our code does not store your IP address, although our hosting provider processes it to deliver the site. If you dismiss the suggestion, one item is saved in your browser’s local storage so it does not appear again. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.
That local storage item only remembers a choice you made on the site, so under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations we do not ask for consent to store it. Our lawful basis for the country check is our legitimate interest in showing visitors the right regional information.
Why we use it, and on what basis
For the FPK OS updates form, we use your email address to contact you about platform availability and product migration. Our lawful basis for those updates is your consent, given when you submit the form. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for marketing.
We use evaluation and pilot enquiries to respond to your request and discuss a suitable engagement. Submitting an enquiry does not add you to the FPK OS updates list.
Our lawful basis for handling an enquiry is our legitimate interest in responding to, and assessing, enquiries about working with us. You can withdraw consent to FPK OS updates at any time by emailing us, and you have an absolute right to object to direct marketing.
Where your data is stored — and international transfer
Website signup and enquiry data is stored in a Supabase database hosted in the United States (AWS us-west-2, Oregon). The regional language version of this website does not change where these forms send their data. Product and pilot data-hosting arrangements are separate from these corporate website forms.
If you are in the United Kingdom, this means your data is transferred to the United States. For UK data, these transfers rely on the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where a processor is certified to it, and otherwise on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses in our processors’ data processing terms. You can ask us for details of these safeguards using the contact address below.
Who processes it on our behalf
- Supabase — database and serverless functions (United States)
- Vercel — website hosting and delivery
- Resend — sends the internal notification email that alerts our team to a new signup
How long we keep it
We retain signup emails until FPK OS launches and the relevant announcements have been sent, or until you ask us to erase your data — whichever comes first. Contact us below about retention or deletion of an evaluation or pilot enquiry.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Have your data erased
- Restrict or object to our processing
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time — this is as easy as giving it
To exercise any of these, email info@futureproofknowledge.com. We will respond within one calendar month of receiving your request. If a request is complex, or you make several, we may extend this by up to two further months, and we will tell you why within the first month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first at info@futureproofknowledge.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, look into it without undue delay, and tell you the outcome.
You also have the right to complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commission’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, helpline 0303 123 1113. The ICO usually asks people to raise a complaint with the organisation first.
Processing of personal data from Ireland and the rest of the European Economic Area is covered by the EU GDPR and the Irish Data Protection Commission; see the Ireland & EU version of this notice.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice when how we handle personal data changes, and show the date of the latest version at the top of the page.
